The British Virgin Islands (BVI) are located in the Caribbean to the east of Puerto Rico. There are over 50 smaller islands as part of the British Overseas Territory but the main islands consist of:

Residents of the BVI are British Overseas Territories citizens, as well as British citizens. At the moment, islanders are also EU citizens although the BVI are not directly subject to EU law.
